head mama bear

Tanya D. Jones is an award-winning Executive Producer, founder of Mama Bear Media Group, and a storyteller at heart who has been creating content across television, streaming, and digital platforms for over 20 years.

A Philadelphia native turned New Yorker, Tanya began her career at Food Network, where she built a strong foundation in how-to and lifestyle programming. Since then, she has worked as a director, writer, and producer across major networks and media companies, creating branded and original content for iconic brands.

In 2020, after more than a decade in corporate media, Tanya founded Mama Bear Media Group, a production company dedicated to developing original programming and meaningful brand partnerships across platforms—from scripted and docu-style content to live experiences and podcasts.

Most recently, she created Can We Kick It, a Harlem-based live storytelling experience that blends music, true stories, and community, and is quickly growing into a cultural and digital property. Learn more at canwekickitlive.com.

Tanya is also a Certified Professional Coach and recently wrapped her six-week group coaching series, Back to One, which helps women in media reconnect to their voice and power.

Whether she’s producing, performing, or coaching, Tanya’s work is rooted in one thing: creating spaces where stories and people can fully show up.
